Are there discounts?

A 20% discount is offered to all YEF members.

Block bookings of more than 6 sessions are also eligible for a discount - please discuss this with the staff.

Is it accessible?

At the moment only the ground floor is fully accessible. We are currently raising money to install a lift to ensure we can make all of the building fully accessible to everyone in the community.

Allocation of space

To ensure a varied, inclusive, accessible and needs-led programming, several different factors will be used in determining how space is allocated to community partners, and prioritised if there are conflicting demands for space.

Connection to the local community

This might be demonstrated through engagement or membership with Young Ealing Foundation, or ongoing support and engagement with The Hub @ Greenford Library. This may also be assessed through local delivery track record, or recommendations or referrals from local delivery partners and stakeholders.

Flexibility of space requirements

We can offer more activities if those delivering services can do so within or alongside the public opening of the space, or who have smaller space requirements and can therefore deliver alongside other providers.

Responsive to local need

We will prioritise providers who can demonstrate evidence that there is a local need and desire for their offer, and that it is not currently being delivered in the immediate local area. There will be a strong focus on community consultation and youth voice activities which will shape the services which are prioritised for delivery in the space.

Financial or in-kind contributions

Whilst we recognise that groups are doing their best to deliver services on reduced resources, to ensure the long-term sustainability of the project, we will also take into consideration whether groups can make a contribution to the ongoing running costs, either financially, or in kind through offering volunteer hours or other contributions.
